Scarce Metropolitan .36 caliber Navy pistol from Civil War era, S/N 4170. Good overall condition showing gray to light brown patina with light to moderate pitting and erosion. Good address. Grips show some damage, notched and minor repairs on the left butt. Matching numbers and works well. The metropolitan factory burned during early stages of Civil War and it was rumored to have been set by confederate agents. (Antique) Est.:$1000-$2000
